Worli Seaface, Mumbai
Worli Seaface is another of Mumbai’s renowned promenades where people like to go for walks and sit in the evenings. It’s one of the top places to experience the monsoon in Mumbai, as huge waves thrillingly rise up and onto the roadside during high tide. The Worli Seaface also offers a view of the Bandra Worli Sealink, which starts a little to the north of it.
What you see – When you reach Worli Sea Face in Mumbai, in the early morning hours (if you are lucky and live close by), you would encounter the sun beating down on your eyelashes in joyful melancholy. The pathway that runs alongside, stretches to an enormous length and offers a breathtaking view of the sea; so much so, that you feel you are outside Mumbai.
The Worli Sea Face has been captured on camera for many Bollywood movies and is a hotspot for going out with your family, alone or with friends. This place still remains one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Mumbai. Possibly because, the moment you walk down this area, an aura of calmness and peace engulfs you. The gushing waves, the shining sun and the vast sky welcome you for a triple treat.
It is a great place to indulge in some good workouts, with your track pants, a cotton tee and good sports shoes. Many people come here to have a good walk and a jog, in the morning and in the evening.
